While Aaron is at his training class in Florida, we are continuing to
train here at home. Jesse is excited to begin his pursuit of a Ham
Radio License. Thankfully, we have a family member who is already
licensed and is directing Jesse as he pursues his technician's license.
He is also looking into what equipment we would need to allow us to
communicate on the field. The potential to make contact with family
here in the U.S is a little patchy if we end up in Africa, because of
radio waves and the daytime-nighttime curve that effects the
atmosphere. Not impossible, but it would be a challenge. Europe,
Australia and Asia, however would be great possibilities for contact! When
other forms of communication are not available, Ham Radio is often the only
viable means.
Jesse would appreciate your prayers as he has a lot to read through and retain in preparing for his test! |
Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. 1 Timothy 4:12
