A glimpse...
We are beginning to plan a trip out west this Fall, centered around a training in Colorado. We are so looking forward to spending time with friends and family along the route from Atlanta to Colorado and then Montana! (woot!woot!) We will be sharing at Canyon View church on November 18, and are praying for opportunities to visit churches, small groups, family gatherings or individual dinner tables to tell of what God has done over the last year, and what the next steps are. We'll be driving across the majority of the country and we're eager to show pictures and enjoy fellowship centered around what God is doing among unreached people. Pray with us for those who have still not heard of Jesus, and how God will unite each of our hearts with His purposes in the days to come.
It is our hope that our time in your home or church will be an encouragement and a testimony to how God uses ordinary 'Joes' to do extraordinary things! Let us know if you are up for an invasion, and we'll plan accordingly. If you are already supporting us, we are tentatively planning to invade you when we pass through- so brace yourselves! We haven't figured out how or when to get to California, so we can't make any dates in SoCal just yet...

Home and Safe
A mosquito coil, placed under the table at night to protect us during dinner! |
We rode a bus up to the big city |
A long layover in Paris allowed us to meet the 4th family on the CMF team- and see Notre Dame |
That's the Eiffel tower to the left of my head! |
Some of the sights...

All's Well!
We are all doing well, we've stayed relatively healthy and enjoyed developing relationships and learning
The hard-working guys mixing cement and working hard... more sweat than you can imagine!!
The nearly finished Ferrocement tank will hold 10,000 liters of water- a huge blessing for the family and the farm, where there is no running water or electricity. Thankfully, in the wet season they are able to capture water in barrels, which saves trips to and from the well~ the hope is to store water in this tank for use during the dry season when the well goes dry. Thank you for praying for us. xoxo

Smooth Sailing!
Yeah!! We are checked in and waiting at the gate! We breezed through security with 8 checked bags- no hassles, no fees, no problems!! We are taking quite a bit of things for the team, so I was a little bit nervous that I would do it right, and disperse the weight appropriately. I am so thankful that it went well! The reality of one highly sensitive girl, traveling with 3 male-types is upon us... please pray that they aren't easily affected by tears~ and that my skin grows thick, not because they're tough to be with, but y'all know me!
We are definitely at peace, feeling great and eager to step forward. The kids are with their Aunt, Uncle and cousins, and are happy to be there- but it's hard to leave them behind. Two weeks is a long time, but we are looking forward to lots of discovery and fellowship- and returning more informed and focused. Thank you for your support, prayers and encouragement. The reality of what God is doing is tangible, and we are so thankful to be working toward such an important goal. Thank you...much love... xoxo
